Findings

  • Acute nondisplaced right occipital condyle fracture
  • Acute mildly displaced C4 and C5 spinous process fractures
  • 3 mm anterolisthesis of C7 on T1, likely related to left greater than right degenerative facet disease at this level
  • Multilevel moderate cervical spondylosis with disc space narrowing most advanced at C5-C6
  • 9 mm hypodense nodule in the right thyroid lobe, which does not meet size criteria for further imaging evaluation


Diagnosis

  • Acute occipital condyle fracture

Sample Report

Acute nondisplaced right occipital condyle fracture.

Acute mildly displaced C4 and C5 spinous process fractures.

No traumatic malalignment. 3 mm anterolisthesis of C7 on T1, likely related to left greater than right degenerative facet disease at this level.


Discussion

  • Occipital condyle fractures are often very subtle
