Findings

  • Nonobstructive bowel gas pattern
  • No evidence of free intraperitoneal air
  • No abnormal intraabdominal mass effect or calcification
  • Low lung volumes with streaky perihilar opacities and coarse interstitial markings. More confluent atelectasis in the left upper lung


Diagnosis

  • Normal

Sample Report

Nonobstructive bowel gas pattern.

No evidence of free intraperitoneal air.

No abnormal intraabdominal mass effect or calcification.

Low lung volumes with perihilar atelectasis and changes of chronic lung disease.


Discussion

  • Many cases you read on call will be normal
