Findings

  • Nonobstructive bowel gas pattern
  • Hepatomegaly, with the liver measuring 14 cm in craniocaudal span. No splenomegaly
  • No evidence of free intraperitoneal air
  • No abnormal intraabdominal calcification
  • Mild streaky perihilar opacities without focal airspace opacification, pleural effusion, or pneumothorax
  • Normal size and configuration of the cardiopericardial silhouette


Diagnosis

  • Hepatomegaly

Hepatomegaly, with the liver measuring 14 cm in craniocaudal span. No splenomegaly.

No evidence of free intraperitoneal air.

No abnormal intraabdominal calcification.

Mild streaky perihilar opacities, which may relate to viral bronchiolitis or reactive airways disease.

No focal airspace opacification, pleural effusion, or pneumothorax.

Normal size and configuration of the cardiopericardial silhouette.

  • While looking for mass effect, make sure to look for organomegaly
