Buckle fracture within the left radial metadiaphysis concerning for non-accidental trauma. The wrist and elbow remain anatomically aligned. There are no soft tissue abnormalities or radiopaque foreign bodies. Recommend skeletal survey and physical exam to correlate with additional signs of NAT.

FINDINGS/IMPRESSION:

There is a non-displaced buckle fracture of the lateral radial metaphysis. Alignment at the wrist and elbow is maintained. No other fractures are seen. The soft tissues are normal.

An AP and lateral radiograph views of the left wrist are provided. The lateral radiograph is not a true lateral and is slightly obliqued.

A cortical buckling appearance of the left distal radius is present. No dislocation is present. Bone mineralization is normal. No acute soft tissue abnormality is present.

Impression:
Torus/buckle fracture of the left distal radius.

There is a buckle fracture of the distal radius. There is increased linear density at the epiphysis which could represent a type I physeal fracture. No other obvious fracture is present. There is generalized soft tissue edema.
