These findings raise concern for associated ligamentous injury, and cervical spine MRI is recommended for further assessment.

Findings in conjunction with posterior disc osteophyte complex at C6-C7 likely result in a mild degree of canal narrowing, with evaluation for mass effect on the cord precluded by imaging artifact in the lower cervical spine. Multilevel disc space narrowing and degenerative endplate changes most pronounced at C6-7 and C7-T1.
